Resources
The goal of this magazine is to give a platform to people experiencing homelessness in South Carolina. According to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), there are roughly 4,287 people experiencing homelessness on any night in our state. By starting more conversations around the issue of homelessness and potential solutions, we hope to build empathy and understanding within our community. A list of resources for people experiencing homelessness is included below:
Transitions Homeless Shelter has been in operation since 2011 and provides both immediate shelter and a range of other services for clients experiencing housing instability.
